Rally in the US, Europe, Japan, practically everywhere but Canada, which shows you have to diversify outside of Canada. For 10 years, Canada was the place to invest, but that's not the case anymore, you have to look outside. Almost all the new money they are investing is outside Canada.

Not big on gold, but GoldCorp is the best run gold company in the world. Great management, great properties, and properties are in politically stable areas. Gold weakness probably has further to go.

The biggest property casualty in Canada, operates under a number of names. Has been hit recently because Ontario government has mandated lower insurance rates. Longer term is a good name to be but wait for it to bottom out.
