Markets. Markets. Right now we are seeing a shift of money out of the Canadian market and into the US market. This will change in time. Feels the US market is being very influenced by the QE3. Until that ends, maybe they’ll continue to outperform. The fundamentals in Canada are fine.

As a very conservative “buy and hold” investor, is it time to start adding to my REITs? Thinks REITs are at the end of a long cycle. They did get overpriced in this particular cycle. You can still hold onto them on a long-term basis but don’t expect the kind of capital appreciation we have had. He also does not expect to see any additional payouts.

This is not in heavy oil but is in the Bakken field in Saskatchewan and into Manitoba. Price is very close to WTI but their real problem is getting the product to market. Has one of the best regarded management teams in the oil industry in Western Canada. Doesn’t see the dividend ever being cut.

We need a lot clearer picture on what is going on in China but doesn’t think we will get this picture clarified, maybe for a couple of quarters. This is going to languish. It’s a relatively low yielding stock. Excellent company.

If we were heading into another dip in this sector, he would consider taking his losses and buying back later.

Sold off with the whole group of stocks including the telcos. This is in an excellent position in Alberta and really doesn’t depend on shipping oil out of Alberta. He can see further growth.

Went through a period where it was going to be sold but there were no takers. Now it looks like they are going to get rid of the multiple trading shares. Great company with a backlog of orders globally. Low dividend of 1.2%.
